Christmas Wrap-Up

Saturday, January 2, 2016

Christmas is by far my favorite time of the year. Minus the fact that Mother Nature didn't quite give us the typical Christmas weather, but I won't complain too much about. This was our first Christmas in the new house which brought on a whole different level of decorating. Pretty sure my husband was going to scream if I carried in another bag from Home Goods, JoAnn's, Michael's, TJ, etc. Tis the season, right?

One of my favorite Christmas activities we did this year was decorate cookies on Christmas Eve. We kept having to put making them off between work schedules and winter colds. It worked out perfectly on Christmas Eve! There was a ton of Christmas cheer and they were fresh for Santa. Clari even wore

Then of course, Santa came. He went fast too. Amazing how fast a 2 year old can rip through presents.

2016

Well, 2015 was one heck of a year for myself and our family. We bought a house, Clari turned 2, I went back to work after a year of staying home, Clari started daycare (for the first time EVER), and Ryan continued to excel at work. 2015 felt like a wild year too. It seemed like we always had something going on and not much down time. The last few days of 2015 we made up for it though. We changed from one pair of pajamas to another just in time for a glass of wine and bedtime.

I do have tons of "resolutions" if you even want to call them that. I prefer not to call them that! We call them "wants" around here. What do you WANT to do this year? I have a few things that I want to accomplish in 2016.

One things for sure - keep up with my blog more. I promise to be around more than just monthly. You'll get tired of hearing from me I'll be on here so much (kidding, maybe).

Happy New Year!
